When one door closes, another opens: here's hoping it's true. I've already rediscovered a new favorite teapot in my kitchen cupboards! Back to our usually scheduled programming tomorrow.

Sounds like you need a vacation. I wish you wellness, wealth (at least to buy a sub zero refrigerator) and good humor.
Buck up Stefan, better days ahead. We just got our GE Monogram ice maker repaired, I hope the new owners enjoy it...
please be careful!!!!
you'll always have Paris. la
Pretty door! I'm so sorry you are having a tough week with so many things breaking and feeling sick on top of that. I'm having a similarly tough time, flat tires on my car, badly clogged kitchen sink, and my old oven/stove is broken too! I was considering a GE so I am glad to read your warning before buying anything. Any thoughts on what you might get instead? I hope you feel better soon!
Here's to tomorrow!
Sorry to hear about your illness! My nephews had H1N1 last week, it seems to be hitting DC hard - not sure if this is what you had.
Hope you have a better week!
oh no, my dishwasher is on the fritz...
no, not your favorite tea pot!
look for the silver lining in each and every cloud!

I haven't done research into what refrigerator I would get instead, but the GE monogram is only 2 years old and died on me! Luckily I had it repaired (which was about the price of a low-end refrigerator!). Buyer beware!
I have times like that too, when nothing goes right. One big thing can really put you over the edge. Like when my phone died and I had to get an emergency phone and it was crap, with a hum on the line, and it ruined my whole week until I got another one.
Hang in there. This too shall pass!
'Twas ever thus!
I'm staying away from you tonight-LOL!
My mother-in-law said bad luck came in threes. Looks like you are working over time. Sorry to hear about the GE thing. I've read really good things about their new 48" duel fuel range. Will I regret going that way? Make yourself a new cup of tea in the new fav pot and know we all send our best thoughts your way.
Stefan, I have a 93 year old friend who says "If it isn't one thing it's SEVEN!"
Good thing none of these things are life threatening, just mega-annoying.
Consider a Maytag. I got rid of my Monogram in 2001 when Bush told us to go shopping after 9/11. It has never had a repair and I don't have to constantly vacuum under it.
Hope you are feeling better.
Stefan, it is usually only three in a row of bad luck, so it appears you will now have more than three great things to occur!
My week has been very similar! But, alas, this too shall pass!

Oh no -that's alot of things to have break! Sorry about the teapot but glad you rediscoverd the other one.
