Artful handles

While out and about today I noticed these great brass & glass door handles on the soon to open new J. Crew store at the former Georgetown Park mall. Aren't they terrific? I'm just loving these doors with glass and brass combination. As a side note; I'm very excited about this new development near my office which will include some great lunch time diversions!

You are so lucky to work in G'town! I miss going to this JCrew. Now mostly shopping at the one in Chevy Chase near us.

The door pulls at my husband's ENT's office are a solid bronze nose. I cannot tell you how odd it feels to reach out and open those doors...

I really love how J.Crew "pulls" me in each time I am near. The stylists they hire are amazing. I can see you as their model.

Beautiful handles, the ones with "pull" in the glass rods. I rather like the notion of bronze noses, too. Nothing like tweaking a nose!

Little touches leave a large impression... that everything was thought out and cared for.

I am dreaming of amethyst doorknobs these days –– a flash of purple as you enter and leave a room.

Gorgeous pulls. And nothing beats a little retail therapy/inspiration at lunch time. When I lived in downtownToronto I loved the lunch time shop circuit...(now my office is in a research park - not much to offer at lunch time!). How lovely!

David is off to Gettysburg, Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville for a few days but I'm not coming this time. Sad... :)
