I hope everyone is having a great (cold) Saturday. I thought this dreary weather could use a dose of Barcelona color. I love the ancient stained glass found in all of the local churches. Somehow, the older the better; the colors are just that much more vivid!

Oh, to be in sunny Barcelona right now. What a gorgeous window! And that ochre color is warming me up. Lovely images!

Oh but today was SO much warmer than the beginning of the weak - felt almost balmy!! Exquisite shots - just dying to go there - but would want to take Spanish lessons first!
The colors are lovely and the light is so different than December--East Coast-- blah.
Such vibrant colors! It reminds me so much of our time in Italy this summer!
Thanks for this little uplift!!!
It's pouring cats and dogs here...

Happy holidays Stefan!
I've been enjoying your posts on Gaudi and Barcelona. I visited there 6 years ago and had a wonderful time. We also managed to spend time at nearby Stiges which a lot of fun. Your posts have inspired me to want to go back again. Thank you.
Unfortunately, ochre does not seem to be a popular color choice for a house in this country these days despite some very stylish use in the 19th century. For some reason unknown to me, masonry houses here in the Mid-South are being painted very unattractive institutional shades of green!
Interesting photos! I also love houses, mostly the old ones. Gaudi is one of my favourites!
Beautiful stained glass window. Gracias.

Oh, I love the balconies and yellow walls. Just what I needed on a cold winter day.
Ochre washed stucco, streaked by sun and rain...nothing better.
