All in one kitchen
I recently came across this amazing all in one kitchen system. Made in Italy by Meneghini, the mini-kitchen fits into a wood or lacuqered cabinet that looks like a piece of furniture. However, it opens up to reveal 2 electric rings, a sink and faucet, a fridge and 2 storage compartments - magic!I think a cabinet like this would be great for a mountain or beach cottage - or maybe a city studio apartment in NYC where one doesn't cook at home. I immediately thought of the beach huts that Meg at Pigtown talked about last week as a perfect place for one of these contraptions.I especially love this image of the item in wood with a mirrored top. What do you think? Good or bad?

Good - very good!
not bad at all..i think i like it.
I love these, even being from the midwest where everyone always ends up in the kitchen.
Perfect for a beach hut or city studio yes, but they'd also be great in a guest house, or even as a morning kitchen in an especially large home.
David -what a great idea! Perfect for an in-law apt or guestroom-or even a place to make coffee or breakfast in a large master suite? Maybe the room above the garage?
I'll take one of those and put it in my wee beach hut! Of course, it would work brilliantly in my 11.5' house, too!
More than good; it's wonderful.
I had a studio apartment on Beacon Hill years ago that could have used this baby!
What a darling little kitchen! I wonder if they are available in the US? For a European product like this, I believe they have to get certain approvals and certifications before they're allowed in the US. Hopefully they are!
How cool is that!??! Perfect for all the reasons mentioned!
Goll, that is so cool! I need one.
So good! I love it!
Good, good, good!!! Now I just need that beach hut.
I like it, chic and compact. Maybe I need one in my office.
How fabulous! I am a tad obsessed with the Meneghini full sized refrigerators (like the one Nigella has in her most recent show) but this is just pure genius. Perfect for tiny yet stylish apartments.
I think they are quite smart and simple, some people or dwellings do not need a full kitchen. Id love that for say a guest cottage that is hidden behind the rose bushes.
next to my desk at work would be convenient!
i never get to eat or leave for lunch is is just to hectic.
xxx have fun in paris.
That is so cool. Hope you are having a blast in Paris!
