Sometimes, especially in classical architecture, surprises are hiding where you never see them, like above you! So pay attention to your surroundings - LOOK UP!

Oh that's my favourite saying! You miss out on so much of life when you don't look up. I mutter under my breath, 'look up, look up' at every trade fair I attend and I always find my most prized find 'up' somewhere. A-M xx
So many people don't bother that they miss out, leaving the treasures for us, AM!
I thought these were pretty examples, kwana!
My father always said that... things at street level change, but the levels above tend to remain the same. Also, the craftsmen who did the building had a little more freedom to put secret messages and funny faces in the architecture.
How I do love decorated ceilings!
