I could move right in - literally! The entire store is set up as vignettes in a home.
I bought some amazing candlesticks here that I will share soon with a tablesetting :-)
The great thing about Europe - lit candles in stores! Everywhere! Shopping by candlelight -what could be more charming?
I loved this desk.
And a La Cornue stove -my dream!
Red and Grey, black and white tended to be the color schemes -with a lot of natural light woods and linen.
People just made themselves at home.
Which is better, the chair or the bookcase? I'll take both, please.
Loved these dark walls with the natural oak flooring.

Yes, I can see the attraction. I think part of it is in the dark ambiance, and the good lighting, (as you have noted). The darkness is "lifted" by the occasional flash of one of my favourite colours - burnt orange.
Thanks for beautiful pictures. Did you ask about a US outpost?
Columnist -yes -very neutral background with the splashes of color. Love that!
Laura - there are no flamant's in the US yet, but they are open to the idea with investors -we inquired at 'maison et objet'.
Yes, please bring them to the states. I love the color palette's, very very warm elegant and livable.
What a fabulous store. And I second your request for a WS Home in DC!
Mon Dieu, c'est beau!
Love all these pics and those shutters that act as a divider. I can't believe I was in Paris last year and never went to Flamant!! You're right - DC should have a WS Home. I've been to one in Dallas and found alot of inspiration there - although it would be even better if Flamant came! How were the prices?
It's always about the lighting. But I share your love of natural woods and linens and the combination of earth tones. The striped walls are glorious. So much to captivate, but there was something rather arresting about that desk tucked in the nook at the end of that long corridor of chocolate and coffee.
My only fear is that a WS home in DC would be out in Tysons -ick.
The prices at flamant were comparable to william sonoma home. I'm not sure how the exchange rate would affect that wholesale.
Not cheap but not overly exhorbitant either.
I could move right in!
Thanks for your kind words about my latest living room upgrades. You are so sweet!
xo xo
Im with you, I could move right in!
Bring WSH to the DC area-and Tysons Galleria would be great by me.
well, you can just add 'poo poo' to pottery barn name!
this place is fab .... i am sure that i made some purchases there for an old client while in paris.
xxx's
it is a bit sad to come back to the usa....don't you think so?
I gather you like Flamant! Seriously, great style and thanks for sharing it with us.

I just hope their quality is better than WS's. I have had awful luck with them... must be their shipping. The worst of all was their mason desk that had to be re-delivered no fewer than 5 times. At which point they just gave up and told me they had stopped production. What? So why do I still see it in their catalogue? But I digress........ The reason I commented was to let you know that I linked back to this post on my most recent entry.
I absolutly love the color schemes. Is there any way we could find out what the paint brand is used and colors?
