I can't remember where I read it, but recently there was a discussion of old Las Vegas and how fast it was disappearing. I would like to go take a look, but it doesn't seem to be in the cards. Perhaps the next time I visit the U.S. I can look for book about the city. I am liking that era more and more. In Ohio I lived in a couple of 1950's houses, but they were more traditional than future-directed in their design.
