Happy Easter!

I hope everyone who celebrates Easter has a magnificent day! Cherry blossoms are just on their last legs here in Washington as you can see above. Beautiful weather though which brought out tremendous crowds to the Tidal Basin yesterday. Picture above shows the Jefferson Memorial through the cherry blossoms.

  3. Oh, I would love to see them. Looks like a madhouse there. When we were in DC last October, we had the Jefferson Memorial all to ourselves - I have pictures of us on the steps with not a soul around. Reasons to travel in the fall...although seeing these blossoms would be a huge treat.

  5. Beautiful! Its so nice to walk D.C. in the spring if its not too crowded. I made it down to Virginia over the weekend! Happy times. I'll get my pics posted soon.

    In a related note, on first glance I thought you wrote "Tilda Basin", which brought visions of the great Ms. Swinton in some sort of pool. Dyslexia can be fabulous!
