Georgetown in fall

My favorite time of year - crisp air and beautiful leaves. This image of the Georgetown C&O canal near my office. Enjoy your weekend!

  1. You too Stefan. Check out my latest painting on the weather here in Kansas City. Of course after the rains blew onward it is sunny, cool, & crisp.

  4. as a now transplanted native Washingtonian, I am oh so homesick for chill air and fall colors! Thanks for this lovely post - Earl Nightingale, a famous motivational writer of the '30's, referred to Acres of Diamons - as being in our own backyard - and for me, nothing beats amazing Washington. With the real estate market tanked here in SE Coastal GA there is no returning - not anytime soon -

You do great things on your site - Pigtown is another one I enjoy!

    Keep up the great postings.

  6. I miss shopping in Gtown during fall. I have a friend who lives on P Street near Dupont, and we would walk from her place across that Park (I think it's called Rosies?) right into GTown.
