Lilacs and a Thank You!

I want to thank Michele of My Notting Hill for naming my blog among her favorites in a fantastic interview done by Emily Leaman at Washingtonian magazine! Read the entire article HERE: she has some great solutions for common design problems that I think everyone will appreciate. All of our April showers have brought us beautiful May flowers! These are some fragrant lilacs I picked up tonight, aren't they beautiful!

  1. You deserve mention in the Washingtonian. Your blog is a breath of fresh air. You never know what you are going to get (that's from some movie, right?) and you have a unique voice.

  4. Thanks Paul, I have a lot of art LOL. You can see better pictures of the artwork on my apartment therapy home tour, if you're curious. They're all antique architectural students work - watercolors.I have more rolled up ready to be framed even! They're really beautiful!

  6. the lilacs Are Beautiful- to look at and remember. Just a mention and I think of my gran- who grew them (and they say they don't grow well in NC-haha) and wore them as fragrance quite often. GT

  7. I read the article! YAY!

Between the lilacs, the wisteria, the azaleas and the dogwood, it's the best time of the year (if you don't have allergies).
