Rainbows in DC

Last weekend's weather brought us a beautiful rainbow! I snapped this while crossing the bridge from Woodley Park into Kalorama. I hope it brings a smile to your face! It was actually a double rainbow, you can almost see the 2nd one disappearing in this photo to the right over Kalorama.

    Was that today? I was in Columbia for a conference and we had two white-out snow showers! I have some snow in the back "garden" here in P-town.

    Gorgeous rainbow shot! It's a perfect backdrop for the lovely green ironwork of the bridge.

    Thanks willow, yes, i thought it was pretty picturesque!
    PD, I took it last Saturday after the rain shower. No snow here in DC but we have had a few flurries!
    Lauren, it didn't last long! Just long enough for the picture - as you see the 2nd one faded by the time I got my camera out and ready!!
