WS Home 2 - ARGH!

So, I got an answer about the basket shown in the Williams Sonoma home catalog - it's not offered for sale by them!! The ONE thing in the entire catalog that is not sold by them is the thing I desperately want! I received this polite email today

Thank you for contacting Williams-Sonoma Home. The magazine basket you have inquired about is a photographer's prop and is not currently offered for sale through Williams-Sonoma Home. Please know we have not been provided any information as to where this item was obtained. However, we have forwarded your suggestion to our Corporate Buyers for review and possible inclusion in future marketing plans.
If anyone knows what this basket is, please let me know!

  1. Have you tried the usual suspects...Crate and Barrell, Pottery Barn, Ikea, Pier 1, Target? Perhaps do a google search for seagrass magazine and see what comes up.

  2. I can't remember what catalogue it was in (senility), but I saw a wall of prints of old chairs in frames and loved them. Naturally, it was the only thing not listed in the catalogue.

  3. I saw some very similar looking baskets at Aero in Soho recently. They have a lot of great things and are having a sale but I'm not sure if it extended to the baskets. If you call them, ask for Jacqueline. She can send you photos or tear sheets if they have them. Bonne Chance!

  5. PD, isn't that just the case? LOL - damn them and their photography props! Why do the props have to be better than the merchandise!
