new flowers!

You must think I get flowers all the time! About once a week I pop into whole foods for some fresh flowers to brighten up my home :-) These white and pink lilies were so cheap they were practically free!I love the different moods the 2 different pictures have -one with flash, one without. I cut off the stamen inside (per martha's intructions, of course) so that they won't drop pollen all over my apartment! That martha is just full of good ideas!

  1. one of my favorite songs is "you don't bring me flowers" --- love flowers, just tossed some roses that lasted nearly two weeks.
you certainly know how to "gild the lily!"
lilies are lovely and they have a wonderful fragrance.
