RIP iphone

I've been obsessed with fountains lately. I loved the video feature on the iphone because I collected 10 second clips of every fountain I saw! It was the start of a beautiful collection. Above is the huge fountain in the Memorial park in Crystal City, Virginia along Crystal Drive. Below is the fountain in the garden of the Chicago Institute of Art.

For those that asked, I had to get rid of the phone because it did not pick up an AT&T wireless signal in my apartment -in the heart of the city!

I mourn your loss. This is an American Tragedy when brilliant industrial design can't phone home.

I love my iphone so much. I have the original one from when they first came out, years ago.

It's still perfect today, and works great.

I'm sorry you had to get rid of yours.

I miss it so much and I only had it for 2 weeks! It just felt silly to get a homeline though to makeup for the fact that the phone application didn't work! Otherwise a PERFECT machine!
HBD - so right, love your pun :-)

Isn't HBD wonderful? future blog- for sure. This is terrible and I fear horrors await me- as I am contemplating a new everything phone. RIP IP. la

Good luck, Tammy! Make sure that you have a friend over for tea or dinner to make sure you get at&t reception! Same for you augury! I wish I had done the same!

I have verizon (which i am currently hating), for my cell service and have never, ever had any problem with the signal, except in my house! So the thought of switching to ATT freaks me out because i probably won't have it in my house or anywhere else.

Meg, stay with Verizon! I hadn't heard of anyone having signal problems other than you with it -how odd! I just wish they had a better phone selection!

I'm so curious- did your phone make calls outside of the house? And did you try with a different iPhone at all? It just seems so odd- I'm hoping you ruled out a bad sim card or a defective phone before giving up on this glorious little piece of tech all together!

I love my iphone but just got an update and now it does all sorts of annoying things that I am not used to. Hope you had a great weekend.

I tried everything -the phone worked perfectly everywhere else except in my apartment. My friend's at&t phones don't get service in my apt either :-(

I have the same problem with my iPhone but at the office and the solution seems simple to me - don't go to the office. I must stress I'm not suggesting you change residences because of a phone. Mind you, it is an iPhone and I'd have a hard time choosing. Let me see .... house or phone?

I hope you continue the collection of short videos and it doesn't die with the iPhone. It's an interesting study. I know your camera can take videos like that since I have the same camera as you. You just need a big memory card.
