I wish I could be there. I'm hoping for a good outcome.

Me too, Kwana! I've been thinking about this house a LOT and even dreaming about it!

What a beautiful structure. Perhaps you could start an online petition. If it goes national with U.S. citizens and others voicing opposition of its demolition, it may have more impact than if the voices were just local.

I wish we could go en masse and really make a scene,
a fashionably chic scene. I loathe the word demolition.
It sounds so wrong.

Stefan-Some very wealthy person or person(s) need to buy it so save it at this point I'm afraid. But here's hoping for a miracle.

I, too, hope the house is saved. Thanks for stopping by my blog... I think you may be right about that ceiling... on second glance, I think it is wood! Thanks for the heads-up!
