Leslie Caron

Enjoy your weekend everyone! Images are of Leslie Caron, around the time she did Gigi (my favorite movie), taken by Cecil Beaton. Caron was born in 1931 and is still living, even occasionally acting! She currently runs a bed and breakfast named Auberge La Lucarne aux Chouettes (The Owls' Nest Inn) which is located outside of Paris in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne. I'm sure it's delightful!

Another of your fantastic posts. Maybe i try to stay her B&B next time i am in Paris. Would be an interesting experience. You are another person with passion for life as art as well (Hollister Hovey another great blog), anyways have a pleasant weekend.

I've always thought she was the most beautiful actress from the 50s and has STAYED beautiful gracefully. Did you see her in Le Divorce?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes Gigi!
Tavarua, I would love to hear anyone's story who has stayed in her hotel! Thanks for the comparison to H.H. - what a fantastic blog that is!

Ah, youth. It's amusing that you seem to find it exceptional that Leslie Caron is "still alive" and see fit to apprise us of that fact. Rest assured that there are plenty of us who know and respect her work and that when she does pass on, it will merit some press attention.

Do find your blog very entertaining and you seem to be a delightful young man.
