Wow

I LOVE this living room, the colors, the furniture, the ambiance -I could spend my entire week of vacation HERE! I might do away with the zebra print ottoman and use a brown and orange paisley print. I love the crystal lamp on the right - nothing is cozier or more elegant than a lamp with a dark shade, in my humble opinion. That secretary in the back is just amazing too! I could go on all day long :-)

Ahem, May I join you in that cozy room. I would just curl up on that window seat and be a good kitty.
Honestly, I don't need much but that room would certainly do. Looks like a toffee bar.

I drag this House Beautiful around with me in my tote on a daily basis....the eye candy!! In particular, the room you show and the kitchen are absolutely to die for. These fellows are singing to the choir...every page with the exception of the pink upholstered bedroom chairs(too granny for this granny). My design aesthetic is very similiar...love it! Thanks for the image, beautiful against the black. Ginny

I agree with ditching the zebra print.. but I'd go for a more fleshy pink with a thin brown stripe (or pretty much something like the men's shorts I bought today, which I have no photo of.. but just imagine that it is exciting).

I love the lamp to the right of the sofa. Is it a floor lamp or a tall lamp on a pedestal? Very unusual.

chic room. a bit of a 70's thing, which works.

"You won't mind if I curl up on the window seat"
I could even re-upholster that ottoman for you.
I love the color of the walls, like "nougat!"

PVE, I agree about recovering the ottoman. That reminds me that I took an upholstery class one summer in college and did this complicated boudoir chair for my grandma -it turned out really well. I'll have to look up photos and post them!

I have been looking at page after page.
I am sorry that I didn't know about your before.
I think that you are my long lost brother that I never had as I just love all of the same things that you do.
Where is this photo from? Do you know the magazine or designer?
