new flowers!

You must think I get flowers all the time! About once a week I pop into whole foods for some fresh flowers to brighten up my home :-) These white and pink lilies were so cheap they were practically free!I love the different moods the 2 different pictures have -one with flash, one without. I cut off the stamen inside (per martha's intructions, of course) so that they won't drop pollen all over my apartment! That martha is just full of good ideas!

one of my favorite songs is "you don't bring me flowers" --- love flowers, just tossed some roses that lasted nearly two weeks.
you certainly know how to "gild the lily!"
lilies are lovely and they have a wonderful fragrance.

Thank you, PVE! Yes, I wasn't planning on getting flowers but the scent was so intoxicating I had to get them!

The flowers are beautiful, but I love your alabaster lamp even more!

Thanks POC! I love that little lamp as well -good eye for catching it AND knowing it was alabaster even!

you know, what a great idea! I never thought to do that, I wonder why - but that stuff stains so bad!!! thanks, martha!

will you please get rid of your word verification? you'll never get a spam I promise! I haven't had one for a year and I think I've gotten like 2 spam comments. they're just such a hassle to do and your letters are really hard to decipher! do you hate me yet?

No, I love your comments, CdT! Good idea for the word verifcation -i'm not the most internet savvy person; I didn't know that was in effect!!
